Henna

Henna is made from the leaves of the Lawsonia inermis plant which are dried and made into a paste that is applied to the skin.

Henna produces a burgundy dye molecule, lawsone. This molecule has an affinity for bonding with protein, and thus has been used to dye skin, hair, fingernails, leather, silk and wool.

I use only Jamila Henna, lemon juice, and essential oils. No chemicals, preservatives, or artificial anything!!!
